I actually had a list when I was 5 years old: 1. Singer; 2. Actress; 3. Dancer; so I guess I am living my childhood dream. I am more than happy with my 2nd childhood choice!
For me personally, my first big role was my first series regular role on an Amazon pilot that did not get picked up. It was called The Legend of Master Legend and I played the daughter of John Hawkes and Dawnn Lewis. I learned so much from them and also about myself.
The easiest thing is the craft. I am passionate about the craft of acting and love doing it so much. The hardest thing is the business side. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes such as inclusion, contract negotiations and fighting for yourself to be paid equally that it can become very draining.
During these current times we are living in, I hope people find our series hopeful! I hope the viewers are inspired by the JSA choosing to fight for what is right and then take that into their own world and fight for what is right.
Beth is optimistic, intelligent, brave, and can light up any room.
So far I am most proud of how I always stand up for myself and others. This industry will take full advantage of you if you let it, but I refuse that notion and will advocate for myself and others any chance I get to make things right, fair, and equal.
I am a foodie and am passionate about food! I love trying new food, restaurants and learning about the culture it originated from. I also love learning about politics and change makers. I consistently support the ACLU, BLM, and Equality Now.
