A Book That Might Just Change Your Life

ROSE & IVY JOurnal A Book That Might Change Your Life The Motivation Manifesto

Sometimes that best goals are those that you don't write down, you just do.  This year I had the intention to read a book a month, something that others might do naturally but for me, it has always been hard to sit down, turn off completely and focus, since all of my effort goes into the business.  So far, I have held true to that goal by finishing my third book of the year, even before the end of the month!   I made time almost every day -  I would get up early each morning and just read for at least an hour.  Instead of fiction, I have opted for books that will inspire me to lead a better life.

So for March it was Brendon Burchard's The Motivation Manifesto. A book so good, so inspiring, so moving that I had a hard time putting it down.  Some of the words made me want to cry, others made me feel a great level of comfort.  Have you ever felt that you are surrounded by mediocrity? That you have to conform and be like others?  That you wish that you could do something, but don't think that you have the time, money, talent, etc? That others have poisoned your dreams by doubting you or taunting you that it might be hard work? That you can begin to live when 'X' in your life happens? That fear is the biggest challenge in your life and you are scared to be rejected or even successful?

To all of the questions above, I answered a big fat 'yes' to many times.  This book I think has the power to change your destiny by helping you to reclaim your life back.  Burchard outlines 9 declarations helping you to claim your personal power with chapters on 'Reclaim Your Agenda', 'Advance with Abandon' and 'Amplify Love'.  If you are looking to be inspired, to go after your dreams once and for all and live a more conscious life, I cannot recommend this book more.
