Seeded Honey Bread
Is there anything more delightful than the smell of fresh bread? Over the past few years I have been fine tuning my tastes for delicious bread. Here in New York we are lucky to be in the presence of so many delicious bakeries - Sullivan Street and Bien Cuit are just a few favorites, but I also love the idea of whipping up a loaf in my own kitchen. This recipe for Seeded Honey Bread strikes the perfect balance between sweet and savory. The seeds - caraway, sesame and sunflower, lend a nutty flavor while the honey provides a hint of golden sweetness. The best part about this recipe is that it is yeast free and quick, so no need to double rise this loaf. With a cup of coffee and a dollop of fresh jam, it is the perfect addition to breakfast.
