A Tulip Study Part II | 'Salmon' Parrot TULIP
Today is the second installment featuring the Parrot tulip. If you have ever frequented a flower market, you will know that the flowers are wholesale, meaning a bunch can come with up to 100 stems and can be quite pricey. On the particular day that I picked up these beauties, the shop let me break-up the larger bunches into smaller ones, allowing for me to pick up three different types at an incredible price. It's the little things in life, you know? Today, meet the 'Salmon' Parrot tulip, a beautiful pale orange bloom that is accentuated with gentle strokes of mossy green. I photographed this flower as the light was beginning to fade and cast a dramatic glow making this flower even more magical.
