Vermont in the Fall

Escaping the city is always a good idea, especially when it is fall.  As I had mentioned, last weekend we ventured up to Vermont to enjoy some fresh air and to see the changing leaves.  For as much as I love and thrive on city life, I have realized how much I also need the open spaces of the countryside.  Well that is exactly what we got.  We rented a farmhouse that was located on 340 sprawling acres just 20-minutes north of Manchester, Vermont.  We hiked to a Lye Brook Falls, a stunning waterfall, took in the last bits of fall foliage and enjoyed time by the fireplace.  It was the perfect weekend away! Here are some moments from our trip.
