Exploring Gullfoss One Of Iceland's Pristine Waterfalls
Driving along the Ring Road, east of Reykjavík, you’ll discover waterfalls almost everywhere you look, all cascading down the mountainsides and forming pools at the bottom. One such waterfall is Gullfoss, where the Hvítá river creates a dramatic display of water thundering over snow and ice leaving behind a sculpture-like effect. Visitors can trace around the top of this natural landmark and gaze down as the water falls 105 feet below.
