Checking Into Nääs Fabriker in Tollered, Sweden

ROSE & IVY Checking Into Nääs Fabriker in Tollered, Sweden

Located 20 minutes northeast of Gothenburg, Sweden, Nääs Fabriker is more than simply a hotel. Rather, it offers a bridge to the region’s past, one that was rich in textile production. Today, what used to be a factory, houses not only 4-star accommodations, but also pop-up boutiques stocked with a variety of local goods and a coffee shop, Nääs Fabriker Kafé. The first building on the property was built in 1833 and eventually spawned into a larger complex which faces Sävelången, a still blue lake. The interiors blend industrial touches with Scandinavian minimalism with high ceilings and moody lighting. Guests can take relax in the sauna, situated right by the water, or take a dip in the heated outdoor pool and hot tub or play a game of shuffle board. Bikes are also available on the premises to make exploring the surrounding area a breeze.
