Paris in New York | Step into David Mallett’s New Design Forward Salon
Gilded wall decor, angular brass tables topped with a dark marble slabs and white tulip chairs are just a few of the alluring design elements inside of the new David Mallet Salon, his first in the States. Located in the New York outpost of The Webster, the Australian hair stylist, whose first salon is based in the restored Ritz Paris, collaborated with French architect Charles Zana to bring his vision to life. The result? An opulent, yet intimate space that is the perfect excuse to indulge in some self-pampering including cut, color and other restorative hair treatments. Throughout the space there are bespoke furnishings from François Pouenat and decor from Dinosaur Designs—a ROSE & IVY favorite. In addition to styling services, you can also experience his extensive range of products from a non-drying Australian Sea Salt Spray, which lends the right amount of texture to the hydrating Fresh Eau de Concombre Hair and Face Mist formulated with hyaluronic acid. Here is a peak inside this luxurious space.
