The Cook's Atelier: Recipes, Techniques, and Stories from Our French Cooking School by Marjorie Taylor and Kendall Smith Franchini 

Mother and daughter duo Marjorie Taylor and Kendall Smith Franchini are two women after our own hearts. The pair fell in love with the joie de vivre of French culture and eventually moved to Beaune, the charming town in the heart of Burgundy from America. In 2008, they founded The Cook’s Atelier, a cooking school, boutique and wine shop to help spread their joy of French cooking. In their first book (we hope there are many more to come), they teach classic French techniques with 100 recipes inspired by the seasons. Flipping through the pages makes us feel so much joy and like booking a plane ticket to France immediately.
