At the Market | Husk Cherries
Meet the husk cherry, often referred to as a husk tomato. Encased within tissue-like paper, this fruit has the sweetest and most unique taste - it is a cross to me between the ripest piece of corn and a pineapple. While they are fun to unwrap (almost like unwrapping candy) they are quite enjoyable to eat alone. They can also be incorporated into various recipes - see below. Scoop these up if you see them because they don't last long!
