Escape | L'Isle Sur La Sorgue, Provence
There is no place quite like Provence. Last June, I had the pleasure to travel to the region and was once again reminded of the charm, beauty and all around loveliness of the region. L'Isle Sur La Sorgue, located about 35 kilometers from Avignon looks like it has emerged from a painting. The small town has an incredible flea market scene, which you can read about in ROSE & IVY Journal Issue No.08, but here are some of the images that didn't make it into the edition, plus just some of the antique finds.

My Saturday market visit was one of the most memorable moments, it was bustling with cheese mongers, hot baguettes and a man playing a guitar, which felt like the scene was straight out of a movie.
