Garden Dreamer | Old Westbury
Old Westbury Gardens are a hop, skip and a jump from Manhattan, but they feel like worlds away. Sprawling lawns, cast iron gates, formal gardens, still water are just a few of the reasons that I am beyond happy that I discovered the grounds and mansion on Long Island. Right now is the best time to visit the grounds as lilacs are blooming and wisteria that trails the facade of the grand outdoor staircase will be blooming any day now. Here is a peek inside of this garden oasis.
