Charleston Eats | Rodney Scott's Barbecue The City's Newest BBQ Destination

ROSE & IVY Journal Where to Eat in Charleston 2017 Rodney Scott's BBQ

It is almost impossible to have a bad meal in Charleston, especially if you steer clear of the tourist ridden spots.  Since the last trip for ROSE & IVY, there are a plethora of new restaurants that are worth checking out.  First up, Rodney Scott's Barbecue, which recently opened on  Upper King Street.  As I mentioned in a post about a year ago, Charleston during my college year, we are going back ten years (yikes!) you would never go that far up, what is now a street full of amazing restaurants including this locale.  They serve a variety of options from pork to chicken and sides.  I recommend splitting the hush puppies, collard greens and macaroni and cheese - and for dessert, the banana pudding is knee buckling good.  Here is a peak inside of this new space!

Visit: 1011 King Street, Charleston
