A Taste of New York | El Rey

Living in New York, you are inundated with good food.  Some places become synonymous with certain dishes, El Rey Coffee Bar & Luncheonette being one of them. They have long been revered for their rendition of Avocado Toast.  I finally went to check it out and was blown away by this tasty dish.  Sliced avocado is served on the fluffiest pita bread and drizzled with a tangy vinaigrette and topped with picked red onions.  It was so good.  They also have a variety of health-isn pastries like Sesame Banana and Sweet Potato Bread alongside a good cup of coffee.
