Places to Go | Canal Street Market
New York is a city that is constantly evolving. Neighborhoods change and having lived in here for 11 years consecutively (oh my, did I just write that?!) I have seen it before my own eyes. One area in particular is Canal Street - ugh, I used to avoid that street like I avoid Times Square and 34th Street, but the area is rapidly changing. There are many good restaurants and hotels popping up right around there including the restaurant of the moment, Le Coucou. Also, the Canal Street Market recently opened with a wonderful edit of purveyors and makers bringing beauty to the area. The space is designed with a soothing tone and the aroma of Stumptown Coffee permeates the air, plus, they are in the works of building a food hall. Some vendors of note include Fox Fodder Farm, Mast Chocolate, Sin. Pottery and Keap Candles. Here is a peak inside!
