A Site to Be Seen | Machina x Manus: Fashion in an Age of Technology

It is fairly obvious that around these parts of the web that fashion is a major source of inspiration.  Seeing it come down the runway, seeing in in stores, magazines, it constantly brings new ideas.  What is even better is getting up close and personal with pieces designed by legendary designers like Vionet, Madame Grès and CHANEL by Coco Chanel.  The Costume Instititue at the Metropolitan Museum allows you to do just that in the Machina x Manus: Fashion in an Age of Technology and if you are in New York or are coming before September 5th, it is definitely worth the trip.  Here are some of my personal favorite looks from the exhibit.
