Escape | Casas de la Juderia Cordoba Spain
If you love great design and travel, like myself, you get extremely giddy inside when the two mesh together. I would say it is a match made in heaven. This was definitely the case at Las Casas de la Judería in Córdoba Spain a hotel with a vibrant color palette that was accented with gold and various antiques. Just like the town, the hotel is beautifully devised around different patios clad in patterned tiles with trickling fountains in the center. The hotel also has a large pool that allows you to relish in the Spanish sun. There are many reasons to travel to Córdoba, one being the Great Mosque and the second the Alcázar, which is smaller in scale than the one in Seville, but definitely worth your time. The hotel is located adjacent to the latter and just a few minutes away from the Mosque. Personally, my stay here was too quick, I definitely want to return again one day.
Looking to book a trip to Southern Spain (I highly recommend going in May), read the travel story 'Sweet Andalucia' in the latest issue of the Journal!
