Petal by Petal | 'Caramel Antike' Garden Rose
I practically yelped with glee the other day when I saw my garden roses starting to come to life. Over the past three years, I eagerly await for the two varieties that I have to bloom each spring. While I purchase the majority of cut roses at the flower market, the other day Whole Foods had a large variety that they were practically giving away, thus I stumbled upon 'Caramel Antike' garden rose. This bloom, delicately colored by a antique yellow smells like honey. This variety has countless petals and when in full bloom are about 3 to 4 inches.
