The Botanical Record | Anthurium Leaves

ROSE & IVY Journal The Botanical Record Anthurium Leaves

If you are ever in New York and botanicals are your thing, I recommend a visit to Caribbean Cuts in the flower market, a tropical oasis.  When I am in need of inspiration I will go there, it is quite amazing how much color is found in nature from yellows to pink.  Today I am introducing you to the vibrant glossy green leaf also known as Anthurium Leaves.  They get their name from the Greek word meaning 'tail flower' and can grow 15 to 20 inches.
