HealthY Living | Apple Cider Vinegar & GINGER AND HONEY Switchel
I love finding little ways to lead a healthier life through the different foods that I eat. I am a huge proponent of what you put into your body effects not only how you look, like glowing skin, but also how you feel. In my research, I stumbled across an everyday kitchen ingredient that seemed to have super powers - apple cider vinegar 'from the mother'. It is recommended to drink a few teaspoons morning, noon and night to reap the benefits. Those recommendations seemed like a lofty ambition so I started with a tablespoon in cold water every morning. Funny enough the taste isn't that bad, if you eat kale or any other bitter greens it isn't that hard to drink. I then discovered switchel, a refreshing beverage that combines apple cider vinegar, with either honey or maple syrup and sparkling water. It is delicious.
Apple Cider Vinegar Benefits*:
- Might regulate weight by suppressing appetite
- Provides good bacteria for your stomach that can aid in digestion while boosting immunity, delaying aging and can promote a clearer complexion.
- Apple cider vinegar is rich in polyphelols, which has been helps combat free-radicals that can cause cancer.
