A Taste of New York | Ample Hills Creamery, Brooklyn

It is hot in New York, I mean hot.  You can feel the heat rippling off the side walks with each step, but quite truthfully after the past few winters I would rather be hot than cold, especially when there is ice cream like Ample Hills to cool you down.  This is another large statement, but it might be some of the best you can find in New York/Brooklyn, especially with their flavor It Came from Gowanus (pictured below), which can only be found inside the Gowanus, Brooklyn shop.  It is worth the trip from the city if only for this flavor, see details below.  What I love about Ample Hills is that they make or source all of the ingredients from local bakeries so you never have to worry about something not being fresh or local.  If you are looking for a delicious cold treat, they are the way to go!
