Like Fine Art
Art history was my major in college. I went back and forth for a while starting with a degree in communications. I always felt like those classes were rather flat and didn't really give me any sort of depth. When I switched to art history, I felt the complete opposite. I loved sitting in the dark room while the professor clicked between slides of Renaissance still lifes and Baroque architecture. Both subjects are the reasons why I love photographs with texture and moodiness. This editorial from Italian Vogue is just wow. These sitting portraits could be a painting. Don't you think?
