Petal by Petal | 'Patience' Rose

Happy Monday everyone! A cold and rainy weekend here in New York led to a productive one, only a few more weeks until the winter issue of ROSE & IVY is revealed - mark your calendars for February 16th!

'Patience' garden rose is the second in a series of rose features (you can see the 'Baroness' rose here) in the Petal by Petal series.  This fluffy white rose has a wonderful fragrance that has a floral aroma with a hint of cucumber which yields a crispness.  This rose is flatter than most and boasts 165 petals that come together to form a delicate lace-like pattern.  This bloom is often incorporated into wedding bouquets but they are also beautiful when arranged in a vase by themselves.
