AT THE MARKET | POMEGRANATES & POMEGRANATE Rose MERINGUES
When I was in California at the end of November I was excited that I was able to see crimson pomegranates dangling on a tree - yes, the simple things in life make me happy! Once I learned how to easily remove the seeds (hitting the fruit with a wood spoon does the trick) I became hooked on this fruit that is full of powerful antioxidants. As you may already know, I enjoy making desserts that look pretty and taste delicious. Here, I created a fluffy white meringue and topped it with a rose pomegranate water, pomegranate seeds and a dollop of whipped cream - the perfect light dessert.
